3. AUSTRALIA BAN ON SOCIAL MEDIA FOR CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS

Current Context: Australia has announced a complete ban on social media for children below 16 years starting 10 December 2025 — the first country to do so.

Aim: Encourage graduate students to pursue entrepreneurship

6. SCHEME TO PROMOTE MANUFACTURING OF SINTERED RARE EARTH PERMANENT MAGNETS

Current Context: Cabinet approved a ₹7,280-crore scheme to boost manufacturing of rare-earth permanent magnets.

Objective: 6,000 MTPA manufacturing capacity
Coverage: From rare earth oxides → metals → alloys → finished magnets

Current Context: Javokhir Sindarov became the youngest FIDE World Cup champion after defeating Wei Yi in Goa.
